Plastic Free July is a challenge several 'influencers' are doing to broadcast the use reusable items and going green. We are super excited that such a challenge exists because so many of the products we carry in the store are just that. We are sure that you have heard Starbucks is beginning the process to end all plastic disposable straws and the announcement came right on time with #plasticfreejuly. In this photo that we included on our Instagram, we included some popular items that are green and part of plastic free July. For instance, wood and metal last a lot longer than reusable plastic items and are so much better for the environment. So next time you are debating between those couple dollars for your item, remember that spending a little more makes a big difference to the world. 

In the photo we included Typhoon cooking utensils made of beautiful wood and are paint dipped in a lovely blue. We also included a super cute Kikkerland unicorn corkscrew! Unicorns are currently a big trend and we think this corkscrew will add an amazing detail to your kitchen or bar cart.

Corkcicle is an amazing example of a green trend that took the world by storm. Corkcicle makes reusable tumblers, canteens, stemless wine glasses, and event stemless champagne glasses which all keep your drink cold for over 20 hours (they are triple insulated)!

Food Huggers are silicone toppers that you put on the half apple you are going to eat 'later' (aka never). However, with the Food Huggers maybe you will eat that half and you'll feel great for not wasting any food or plastic wrap, plastic baggies, etc. You can also put them on things you didn't think about such as open sodas, jars, and even camera lenses. They come in cute colors and there is even an avocado pack (thank you avocado toast gods).
